What is an account management scorecard?

An account management scorecard is a strategic managerial tool for assessing the performance of your customer account management.

There are 5 sections of an account management scorecard.

  1. Overarching vision and strategy: this is where you decide what your approach will be for handling accounts and why. It’s based on your outlook and underpinned by what you really want to achieve overall. (i.e. the bigger picture).
  2. Financial performance: how are your customer accounts performing in relation to your profit targets?
  3. Customer care performance: how are your staff doing in light of customer care reviews?
  4. Internal processes performance: how user-friendly and effective are your internal processes doing to help customers get the best experience?
  5. Learning and growth performance: how well are you helping customers see EXACTLY how they can benefit from your various products and services?
