There are approximately 40 nutrients, divided into 6 classes of nutrition that poultry flocks require to thrive and perform.
These groups of nutrients are: water, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals and vitamins. – TNAU Agritech Portal
Each of these 6 nutrients is required for both bodily maintenance and production when rearing poultry.
Whilst conventional poultry feeds will contain many (if not, most) of the aforementioned nutrients.
For adequate levels and concentrations for optimal poultry performance, conventional feed formulations are fortified with either synthetic nutraceuticals or naturally occurring additions.
Do you have a firm understanding of the core elements within a balanced poultry diet?
What does your formulation lack?
Do you have experience of lessons learned from previous mistakes?
