How important is genetic potential to broiler farming success?

In your opinion, how important is broiler genetic potential to broiler farming success?

THe phenotype of a bird can’t exceed the genetic code it was transcribed from.

However, is your broiler farming success merely a factor of how big your birds get?

Also, is there a trade off of huge growth vs. welfare?

Or, can we define broiler farming success by different and more profitable parameters?

I’d like to hear your thoughts.
